Launch of Omen 1

Omen 1 Top Section Is Roll Formed From 3.0mm Thick Galvanised Steel (Or Is Available In Stainless Steel).

Omen 1 top section is connected to an appropriate divider plate to provide a joint with many features and client benefits.

Omen 1 Top Section is roll formed from one single section of steel with continuous ties to anchor the joint into the concrete along it’s length. It is strong, stiff and light. The section is fully tied into the concrete unlike a traditional joint with shear studs that are only secured to the concrete at given centres which creates a problem when a saw cut crosses the joint and the top section is no longer secured into the concrete.
Omen 1 Top Section exhibits a sharp edge at the top rear edge of the joint to provide a trowelling edge, which has eclipsed the rear radius exhibited on other roll formed or press braked joints.
Radius on impact edge – This provides a lead in to wheels travelling over the joint reducing impact damage and noise.
Excellent strength at a fraction of the weight compared to other joint solutions.
Omen 1 Top Section is available to other joint manufacturers for attachment to the joint manufacturers in-house produced Omen 1 divider plates.
Omen 1+ has an inbuilt Impact Absorber insert which absorbs the impact of the truck wheel as it passes over the joint reducing impact on the concrete edge.
