FlorCon Awarded Patent for Omen 1 and Omen 25 Joints

FlorCon Ltd is delighted to announce that our patent applications for the Omen 1® and Omen 25® products have been approved by the U.S. Patent and Trade Office (USPTO). The patents give FlorCon Ltd intellectual property rights to the products introduced and being developed alongside the company’s popular product line for other Omen joints, as well as any other products to be developed in the future.

FlorCon’s CEO, Rodney Arnold, was happy that the USPTO saw fit to recognise Omen 1® and Omen 25® as an invention of the company. “We are extremely excited with the patent status granted by the USPTO and it validates the innovation and invention that we have brought to the flooring industry with Omen 1® and Omen 25®. We have invested a dedicated amount of time, money and resources in the product development process and patent application for Omen 1® and Omen 25® and we have been confident throughout the time it’s taken, that we would get to this point.”

He continued, “With the unique design being capable of simple in-country manufacture we intend to offer Licenses to suitable companies for the Country rights to manufacture and produce Omen joints in their country or region. Furthermore, we understand there will be competition which only validates the success and popularity of Omen 1® and Omen 25®, however, as the patent holder, we are fully prepared to protect our intellectual property rights.”
